Kerri's BDay Present
Today after picking up Madilynn we went to the Galleria to pick up Kerri's BDay Present. We got her a pair of ear rings and matching necklace. Madilynn was dead set on giving Kerri the necklace so I gave it to her to carry and she carried it to the car.
The priceless moment was when Madilynn was on the phone with Kerri and was telling her that she had a we got you a bday present but we can't tell you what it is.... Then she procceded to tell here we got you a present but it isn't Ear Rings... and it is not a necklace....

A Day of Misbehaving
Well today was an interesting day….. It isn’t everyday that you get a phone call from your 4 year olds Daycare. She was having a hard time today being good. It started during circle time at day care when Madilynn wouldn’t sit still, then during nap time she wouldn’t go to sleep and continued to wake up everyone else. She had to spend nap time in the office so not to disturb the other kids. After nap time when she joined the class she would not stay in here seat. After a time in time out when she would not stay there, the directory of the school came down and told her that if she didn’t behave that she would have to call her parents. And what did my sweet daughter do…. Laughed at her. Laughed at the director of the daycare, at 4 years old. I can’t believe it…. But just wait it gets better. After picking her up early and getting to the car, I as her so were you good today? And she answered “Yes”…. Then I asked her if did you take a nap.. and I got another “yes”, then I asked her so you didn’t go to the office today… and she answered “No I was good daddy”…. So I looked t her and asked her “Do you want to re think those answers?” The look on her face was priceless , like a kid with their hand in the candy jar…
So after getting home we had a talk about what she had done and how she will act from now on….
Hate to say it, but I thought a lot of it was pretty funny on some things but if you don’t have control when they are 4 you will not have control when she is 15. Sometimes tough love is the hard love to give, but you have to do it.
